As long as I'm going to be using this site, I should use the journal too. An online journal could be useful, it's harder to lose or damage.
I've kind of gotten into the habit of writing things down. Well, typing now.

I like Chicago. I'm pretty sure I've been here before, but I don't think I really did anything. The buildings are nice, and I actually don't mind the wind. It cleans the air.

I went and visited the art museum, since I'm here. It really is amazing. People usually talk about the impressionist collection, but they've got a lot of other good material. I don't think I like impressionists much, actually. Though...Marie really liked some of them. I spent pretty much a whole day there. Maybe I'll go back before I leave.

I've mostly been working unloading things at the docks. It's kind of tiring, so I haven't been dreaming too much.

What I have has mostly been more memories of training. I'm not sure I remembered that before. They broke us down so completely. But most dreams are of India, in the end.
I wish they weren't.
I wish I didn't have them at all.

But wishing won't do anything.

I think I'll head west soon. Maybe in two weeks.
