A lot of head canon here. Actually, it'll be useful to me to have some of this written down...
1. He was an assassin for 6 years.
2. He remembers killing 18 people, and knows that he killed at least 3 more.
3. David Webb is missing, presumed dead. In real life, he is currently using the name Will Patterson.
4. He remembers maybe 40 percent of his life as Jason Bourne, and has about 10 individual memories of the original David Webb.
5. He was an only child, both his parents were in the military. They died shortly before he volunteered for the CIA. He remembered a few small scenes from his childhood when he looked at their pictures, but he largely does not remember them.
6. He thinks that he might remember more about the original David Webb if visited his hometown. However, he is waiting a few years to do that to decrease the risk of being recognized.
7. He was in the Gulf War. But he doesn't remember that, he's only read it.
8. He was a captain. That's canon. As canon failed to be any more specific, I've decided he worked in the Military Intelligence Corps.
9. He is fluent in: English, French, German, Portugese, and Spanish
He is proficient in: Russian, Polish, Ukranian, and Italian
He can get by in: Greek, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, and Cantonese
10. He's always careful to stay in shape, but his favorite form of exercise is running.
11. He does not like swimming, though he can do it well. In fact, he avoids baths, takes showers instead. He has some bad associations with bodies of water.
12. He does not drink. Ever.
13. He's not inclined to watch t.v. It takes your eyes' attention and drowns out other sounds. He does, however, like to read. You can keep an ear out and look up whenever you want.
14. On that note, he's tried to catch up a little on his reading in the past few years. He's mostly gone with the shorter classics. For the record; he thought Catcher in the Rye was alright but is pretty sure he just didn't get something about it, he liked the ideas in Frankenstein but thought it was terribly written, he knows it's clever and everything but doesn't get Austen at all, he really likes The Bridge of San Luis Rey (lol he gave Cori a copy for Christmas), and he found Heart of Darkness quite disturbing.
15. He is at this point vehemently against being called Jason Bourne. Jason Bourne was a weapon created by the CIA to kill. He is not that anymore.
16. If is ever able to settle down in one place, he'd love to have kids (he believes they should be raised in a stable home).
17. The kids saving the world on the comm (Jeremie, Aang, ect.) really make him sad. Kids shouldn't have to do that. This is why he tries to be supportive, at least, for them.
18. He still gets the headaches and bad memory dreams, but they have lessened considerably since being reunited with Marie.
19. Actions speak louder than words. Part of the reason he fails so badly at coming out and stating his emotions is that he feels words just don't accurately reflect what he feels.
20. He is currently employed as a mover.
